Alan Grayson embarrasses, Michelle Obama succeeds One of the things I hote most about this site -- in addition to the time consuming nature -- are all the whiny phone calls.
Why didn't I note this, why didn't I include that?
A friend is a big backer of Alan Grayson.
I don't mind the US House Rep. We've noted him before. We've called him out when necessary. We've included him in positive ways.
I like Alan personally.
And while we have noted Alan's campaign mailings, we don't note all of them.
He has a new one that was e-mailed to the public site a little over an hour ago (1 hour and five minutes, as I type this).
We're on the mailing list, as my friend knows.
Apparently, I was supposed to drop everything -- I'm at a party right now, we'll get back to that -- and re-post the e-mail.
The one that I didn't even know had come in -- until the angry phone call of why was I ignoring Alan!
Most friends who do stuff like that at least wait 24 hours before they call.

I hover between full disclosure and throwing it all away.
Sometimes it's good that my journal is the only one who knows my thoughts, my feelings, my fears. Other times... It's impossibly lonely.
I consider the options. And I keep choosing this middle path. Or maybe it's a result of not choosing.
I wish I knew what you wanted. Do you want to know the depths of my soul? Would you guide me, or would it break you? Would you rather let me work this out on my own, find my own solutions, and keep you out of it?
But I don't think you know, either.

I woke up around 8 a.m after eating cold turkey, taking a hot bath (NICE!) and writing a letter to The Bergen Record.I really feel I need to warn others about the potential dangers of cyber crime.Maybe most women are smarter than me anyhow. Probably so---B said I "wear my heart on my sleeve", so I guess that's a polite way of saying I have a big mouth.Well, right now I'm wearing short sleeves, so what does that mean? Ha!
Again, I digress, as usual. Right before waking up, I had the craziest dream. Must have been something in that bath water, because I haven't taken ANY meds except Advil all week.
I dreamed I was in an arcade-like structure that had two entrances leading onto the Nj turnpike.I chose the second entrance, riding a bicycle with my mother on the handlebars! The Turnpike was actually a single-lane, narrow wooden bridge, but I was aware of the deep water below. My mom and I didn't travel very far; I turned back into the arcade and saw a boutique-like shop on the right... Message Title: The Favor Of God
Hello My Friend,
One amazing thing about God that we may have a hard time comprehending is that He is not a respecter of persons. He doesn't care what color, race, or creed we are, if we have willingly accepted and received His Son as our Saviour, then we are one of His children, we have been adopted into the family of God. Now, if it seems as though some of His children are more blessed than others, it could very well be true. You see, while God does not respect any of His children any more or less, He does give favor to those who love Him unconditionally, and obey His commands. While our salvation has nothing to do with works of obedience, it is our works of obedience that does produce His blessings beyond our salvation. The child of God who grows with Christ, grows into the likeness of Him, and the more we become like Christ, the more blessed we become. “Submit yourselves therefore to God.... (more)
